At East of Eden Events, we offer many event planning services. From creating a timeline that will cover all of your particular events...to meeting with you in person or over the phone...to providing you years of advice...and of course to provide a menu that will make you and all of your guests overjoyed.

Here is what sets us apart— We will not only provide great food that is miles above what anyone expects from ‘wedding food’, but we will guide you and your guests through the day so that everyone has time to actually experience the event!

Great food is a truly important aspect of your event.  We provide that—AND—just as important, is that you have time to be married, visit, eat, drink, visit, dance and play! 

Besides our great food, it is our truly professional event coordination that will keep you at ease along the way.

We will get together and create a layout of your wedding site—we will create a time line—we will go over what goes where…and we will communicate really clearly between now and then. 

Join us at the end of the month to taste our food. We'll have wine, beer, and a wide selection of food free of charge. Bring your lover, family members, and friends if you wish. You will meet other couples who are there for the same reason, and possibly having their reception at the same location: A perfect chance to bounce ideas off one another.

The vendors we recommend and use have proven to be of the highest quality: always reliable and reasonably priced. We'll always try and give you at least two options so that you can choose the vendor with the style that suits your needs.

In our resource bank we have:

  • Exceptional sites from ocean view lawns to private estates
  • Photographers for weddings, corporate events and private functions
  • Music; from dj's to string quartets from steel drums to dance bands
  • Florists speciali1zing in large formal arrangements to country style bouquets
  • Linen swatches from various companies
  • Limousine service
  • Extensive reference library of menus & hors d'oeuevres
  • Notary minister/marriage certificates
  • The best cake (or pie!) makers.

When you work with us we will direct you to our tusted vendors. East of Eden receives no "kickbacks" or any other gifts from the vendors we recommend and display in the showroom.

We own a large inventory of flatware and china. We will arrange for all outside rentals for you.

Secrets of the Money!!!!!

The one thing you can never find out ahead of time is how much does it cost? Here is a wedding planner that will give you an idea of what you can expect to pay for an elegant wedding reception. Of course, we can plan a completely different menu or simplify or expand, but this will really help you get started on your planning.

  • $28- $50 per person, includes all food from the beginning to the end of your reception.
  • Bountiful, colorful antipasto station.
  • Live chef's station or elegant passed hors d'oeuvres.
  • Buffet featuring the best seafood, poultry and/or prime beef..grilled, braised, roasted, or you tell us!
  • Salsas and sauces that work with the style you've chosen Pacific Rim, Mediterranean, Latin...
  • Exotic grains like Quinoa or maybe roasted new potatoes or a wild rice pilaf or an orzo pasta with asiago and cream or...
  • Colorful, local fresh vegetables. We love to grill squashes and red bells, make crunchy sugar snap pea salads, combine artichoke quarters with grilled Portobello mushrooms or steamed asparagus with a roasted red pepper drizzle or...
  • Our signature flower salad of baby greens, candied walnuts, gorgonzola, raspberries, and edible flowers is a favorite
  • Always, rustic breads with sweet creamery butter.

We will also provide:

  • $5.50 per person includes all stemware, china and flatware for the entire event.
  • $5.00 per guest table for a plain white or ivory square linen.
  • Linen napkins from $.75 to 1.75 each, from cotton to silk to lamour.
  • All set up (two hours) service and clean up (one hour).
  • $21.50 per hour for insured, uniformed staff including bartenders.
  • No Cake Cutting Fee.
